Snoring

For someone who is a once a month blogger, this is an entirely random ass post, but my exhaustion is telling me to write it down and remember it. So Jay snores. A lot. Always has. I can sleep through just about anything, the caveat is I can't fall asleep to it. But if I'm sleeping, we're good, you could run a chainsaw 3 inches from my head and I'd still be sleeping. The exception to the sleep through anything rule is Finn. Anything that child does, I hear, and it wakes me up - and yes, we still use a monitor in our room despite the fact that his room is 6 whole feet away. Well he contracted some toddler crap, cold stuffy nose whatever, and has been INSANELY stuffed up for a few days now. As in, sounds like a 65 year old smoker when he talks, and has taken to snoring because he can't breath out of his nose at all. Darling, but annoying (and the ped said saline spray to help him work through it. Let your mind wander to saline spray and a mouthy two year old). So I've been hearing him on the monitor lately, not a huge deal, I usually just wake up briefly. Until the other night when he decided to come sleep in my bed. He's already a bed hog that was evicted over a year ago, snoring really doesn't help his case. But hes cute, so I let him crawl into bed, and in less than 60 seconds, he was snoring. Moments later, Jays snoring kicked in. I now have surround sound snoring, and can't get back to sleep. Cruel cruel joke at 4 am when all I wan to do is sleep. And then for funsies, the new kid decided to start summersaulting around. I promptly left my snoring boys alone and went to sleep on the couch. Lame. I need to make this snoring go away, I'm really gonna need me sleep back...

and some pictures because I took them the other day and they turned out darling

As a woman who slept separate from her husband for 10 years... I hear ya. I finally got Jerry to go to a sleep clinic and the results were horrifying. He wasn't breathing up to 45 times in an hour... that's scary! Now that he has a c-pap, I can sleep, he is rested, and our bed is nice and warm!
EJ has started to snore on occasion and I'm super scared that he is following in Jerry's footsteps. sigh.
Hope you get some sleep soon!
