Well I've proven to be a much worse pregnancy blogger this time around... hoping I'll at least remember to update major milestones for Atticus once he gets here - otherwise poor kid will have nothing!
How far along? 34 weeks
Total weight gain/loss: Enough. I think I'm right around 30lbs which was about my total with Finn. Not pleased at the potential weight gain coming in the next few weeks. Love this kid but ready to go back to a normal size
Maternity clothes? Barely. As in, my belly hangs out the bottom of all shirts, so I stick to dresses with pants/leggings. Stylish for sure.
Stretch marks? Almost some new ones. Obviously hanging on to the old ones still, but I've had a few new teeny tiny beginnings of some new ones creep up. Right near that pancake flat belly button of mine
Sleep: Disastrous. I love sleep. Finn hates sleep. Atticus thinks its funny to drop kick my bladder late night, and Jay snores lie a bear. Waiting very impatiently to only be woken for late night feedings and not late night pee urgency. Also having massive hip pain, makes emergency peeing a challenge.
Best moment this week: Baby Expo for my business :) It means I have two more shoots scheduled, plus one workshop, then some editing and I'm DONE. Working for yourself has its perks :)
Movement: Non stop. Day, night, doesn't matter. Big sweeping alien like movements all the way to head butts to the cervix.
Food cravings: meh, not really.
Gender: penis #2
Labor Signs: Crap tons of braxton hicks contractions, and a surprising amount of real contractions. I'd say an average of 3 or 4 real ones a day. Not enough to worry, but hopefully something vaguely productive is going on down there.
Belly Button in or out? still completely flat with a bit of an outie by the end of the day.
Wedding rings on or off? off. The real ones got just a hair too tight, enough that they were hard to take off. Rockin my temporary band from WalMart I got when preggo with Finn.
What I miss: sleep and beer. That is all.
What I am looking forward to: We have scheduled nesting this coming week :) I'm a shitty nester/organizer, and Jay needs advance warning about taking time off of work to help, so Wed and Thurs are the day. We're doing everything from deep cleaning bathrooms, to baby laundry, to furniture reorganization, to crib set up. Chances are high Jay and I will hate each other by the end of it all.
Weekly Wisdom: relax. And enjoy Finns last few weeks as an only child!
Milestones: Atticus is head down and knocking at the door!
