2 Months

Since I learned quickly the first time I don't do baby books, this will have to cut the mustard. Atticus had his 2 month well check today. 13lbs 6oz, 22 3/4 inches, and I don't remember his head. He was 50th percentile across the board. A change from Finn who hug out in the 95th percentile until he was mobile. He had two shots, and screamed bloody murder, but it was a short lived moment. He has been pretty fussy this evening, and seems a little warm (baby thermometer needs to be replaced since someone thinks the 'thermopeter' is a toy...), but not too bad. In other Atticus milestones, he is officially sleeping through the night. Not sure who to thank for that, but I'm in SHOCK. Finn was the ultimate no sleeper. But Atticus is the polar opposite. It started because Jays snoring was waking A up, and pissing me off. So I started taking a chance on the boys being in the same room with A in his crib to prevent snoring wake up. He very quickly began sleeping much longer stretches, and we are now getting from 9pm until 5am. Seriously, Finn still doesn't sleep that well.

Finn is now potty trained all the time except for nights, which is wonderful. And just in the past few days, he's moved to peeing standing up. It is HILARIOUS, LOL. We go for Finns 3 year well check on Monday, so I should be back to update on him then. Things are otherwise fairly uneventful for us. I'm hoping to have the chance to type out a 'day in the life' soon. I would say I'll photograph it too, but I know thats a stretch in the commitment world for me. Here are some new pictures of the boys, including my new favorites of each of them :) But on the photograph note, we are having family pictures done (with my mom, Josh and Kate too) the first weekend in October when I'm home for my high school reunion. I'm excited, and Jay is dreading it!

Finn favorite - I'm going to print this one big. I have a 20x30 canvas credit I may use

Atticus favorite :)

Having a hard time believing he's 3!

My mini me :) (for once, LOL)

Tell Jay this is online and die a very slow painful death. I promised to crop him out so it was just the baby smiling - he lost that battle :)

You should take your monthly update posts and put them in a book. That's what I did for E. for year one and two, and made a digital baby book.

BTW where are the dr. seuss onesies from? Cute!

I've got to say that I am SUPER jealous that Atticus is already sleeping 9 to 5!!! Cameron just started doing that in the past month or so and even now, he often wakes up at 3 or 4 before eating at 5.

Maybe this means if I have a second, I'll get a great sleeper?!?

Although......Atticus is now about the weight Cam was at 6 months so maybe that has something to do with it.

Can you tell I've been thinking about this? ;)
